Meet Dr. Sanders

Dr. Sanders is a board eligible neuropsychologist who joined the Well Clinic in 2022. His experience as a neuropsychologist has led to his view that understanding the whole person in context is essential to promoting hope, wellness, and life.

Dr. Sanders joined The Well Clinic purposed to integrate brain based evaluation and treatment services into daily operations. He earned his doctorate from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, after completing his predoctoral internship at the Carl T. Hayden VAMC in Phoenix, Arizona. He then completed a specialized two year post doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Virginia's Neurocognitive Assessment Lab. Dr. Sanders began his clinical career as the primary neuropsychologist for mental health at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, where he spent several years working with active duty soldiers from all branches of the military. From there, he returned to his home state of Louisiana to work with veterans at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Sanders has also engaged part time in a private practice that included forensic work, developing and presenting continuing education seminars, developing assessment and evaluation programs, and risk assessment training for police and first responders.
