Hello, and welcome to The Well Clinic! I’m Aisha, and I’m excited to walk with you toward hope, wellness, and life.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Jackson State University and a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi College. I am a National Certified Counselor and a Board-Certified Tele Mental Health Provider. I regularly engage in workshops and training to remain current in the literature and refine my skills and knowledge. 

I work with children, adolescents, and adults as clients in individual, family, and group therapy formats. My focus areas include but are not limited to issues related to mood, emotion regulation, behavior, self-esteem, relationships, family discord, parenting, school-related issues, and adjustment to life transitions. 

I work collaboratively and integrate a range of therapeutic models and techniques. I tend to favor cognitive (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients develop coping strategies and honor what is important to them. Through a collaborative and individualized approach, I work with clients to develop coping skills that can be applied in their daily lives to improve overall well-being.

I encourage a healthy therapeutic relationship to foster safety, trust, and vulnerability, leading clients to achieve their personal goals. My practice is founded upon respect, genuineness, and authenticity. Counseling works best as a partnership in which the client engages actively. That means your input is crucial, and I am here to collaborate and support you. We will work together to create a space where you can thrive and achieve your goals!

I love reading, writing, and learning new things. I enjoy balancing my work life with family time, catching a ball game or going on an adventure.
